If your monitor or video card can not perform this task try it again only setting the resolution to 800 x 600

If you cannot get that setting either then you really should take a look at upgrading your monitor and or video card as soon as possible go and get yourself a higher resolution monitor because your missing out on the real experience!..

You may simply require a newer video card which you can get for under $40 for a basic one that will be more than adequate for these screen resolutions and high colour settings. If your problem is your monitor you may need to hunt your self down a second hand hi resolution monitor . You can pick up a good 15 or 17 inch monitor for under $50 or around $120 buck brand new if you look hard enough, so do yourself a favour and make sure you can at view 1024x 768!
